Refund policy

We have a 2-day return policy, which means you have 2-days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at [email protected] or fill out the returns form at our contact us page. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Should you wish to return any item received from an online purchase, it is your responsibility to fill in our online returns form as accurate as possible, with the original invoice attached and all the packaging and accessories. Tech MonStore will not be liable to collect the goods from you that have been delivered to you for any reason whatsoever. Tech MonStore will not be held responsible for any costs that may be incurred by you as a result of returning the product. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of income, loss of revenue, or any travel expenses.

Damages

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Most goods that are defective when purchased or fail due to a manufacturing fault will be swapped out, credited, or exchanged within 7 days from the date of delivery.
Excluded from the 7 days swap out/exchange are –

Items that were purchased by special order arrangement; Software; Consumables; Any items that show signs of misuse or abuse; Goods that are susceptible to power surges; Accidental damage.
Goods that cannot be comprehensively tested to the supplier’s warranty policy such as printers, monitors, modems, speakers, scanners, laptops, tablets, and uninterrupted power supply units. These goods will be sent to the original suppliers for testing. No repair, refund or replacement will be issued before the testing or a detailed report issued of the items is complete and has been reviewed by the authorized repair center. Tech MonStore will not be held responsible for loss of any nature that may occur during this period of testing and assessment whether it is loss of earnings, travel, warranty or any other cause.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Warranties

Warranty on all goods will not be valid at all if the serial number has been removed, altered, modified, damaged, erased or marked in any way whatsoever.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

  • Information and content on the website should not be seen as professional advice supported by Tech MonStore. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the products or goods that they purchase meet their needs before they are purchased as all goods are sold on an “as is” basis.

  • Users may place orders for any Product on the Website, which Tech MonStore may accept or reject. Whether or not Tech MonStore accepts an order depends on the availability of Product, correctness of the information relating to the Product (including without limitation the price or materials) and receipt of payment or payment authorisation by Tech MonStore for the Products.
  • No products or goods will be released or dispatched unless full payment has been received and the payment has been confirmed by the relevant banks. This is applicable to all payment methods including, but not limited to, credit card payments and electronic funds transfer.
  • All goods purchased on this website will be supplied by Tech MonStore from numerous warehouses.
  • The contract of sale will only be concluded once the order is accepted by Tech MonStore.
  • Only online orders that have been completed and paid for in full will be processed for delivery.
  • You acknowledge that stock of all Products on offer is limited and that pricing may change at any time without notice to you. Tech MonStore will take all reasonable efforts to monitor stock levels and ensure that when stock is no longer available, that offers thereof are discontinued on the Website. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of stock. When Product is no longer available after you have placed an order, Tech MonStore will notify you and you will be entitled to a full refund or credit of any amount already paid by you for such Product.
  • Tech MonStore will not accept responsibility for orders placed incorrectly on the website and will not be held liable for delivering the original intended item unless subject to an additional delivery charge.
  • Delivery, installation, commencement and performance times given are merely estimates and are not binding on Tech MonStore. Tech MonStore warrants that it will use its best endeavors to meet such delivery times; time is not of the essence of this agreement unless expressly agreed upon in writing by Tech MonStore. Tech MonStore shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature which the user may suffer as a result of any incorrect or delayed delivery, tampering of installation, commencement or performance.
  • Nationwide Delivery is free for orders over R 3000.00 (Three Thousand Rand) including VAT. Goods must be signed for upon delivery by yourself or your nominated person that is over the age of 18. Deliveries will take place during office hours (9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday) and are limited to 1 delivery address per order.
  • A delivery fee of R120 ex VAT will apply to online orders that do not meet the free delivery criteria.
  • Tech MonStore is hereby authorized to engage a third party on its behalf and on the terms deemed fit by Tech MonStore to transport all Products purchased.
  • You have the choice to collect your products at a verified collection point. Please indicate on the order if you require this option.

  • All new hardware purchased from Tech MonStore is a carry-in warranty only according to manufacturer’s product specific warranties from date of purchase.
  • The warranty stated herein is only valid for clients that purchase products from Tech MonStore.
  • Product purchased directly from Tech MonStore may be returned for exchange, excluding any shipping charges, within 7 (seven) days from the date of receiving the Product/s. All merchandise returned to Tech MonStore must be shipped in the original sealed packaging, same condition as sold, with all cables, power supplies, documentation, et cetera.
  • The following items are excluded from the above and will first be sent to the manufacturers approved repair centre for assessment: Printers, Monitors, Modems, Speakers, Scanners, UPS’s, Notebook, Tablets and Cartridges. Only upon their approval will a credit or replacement be passed on to the client.
  • The warranty will be void should the serial number, security seal or label be tampered with or removed.
  • The warranty will be void if the goods have been written on, tampered with, or modified in any way.
  • Tech MonStore will not deliver or collect any warranty goods to or from the client.
  • If any of the above conditions are not met, Tech MonStore reserves the right either to refuse the return, or to charge an agreed-upon restock fee of not less than 30% (thirty percent).
  • If items are credited, it will be at the lesser value between selling price and current market price, and in addition, handling fees specified above will apply.
  • A component that has been damaged due to negligence, mishandling, lightning strikes, or power surges will be declared void of warranty. This includes components that have been installed incorrectly by a party other than a Tech MonStore employee, components that have been dropped after purchase, components that have liquid damage, components that have been exposed to excess dirt and heat, components that have been over clocked or forced to perform beyond their normal operating standard as set out by the manufacturer, and components that have been physically abused in any way.
  • Tech MonStore does not accept liability for loss or damage to any extra items, components and peripherals that may be booked in with warranty items. This includes items such as cables, bags, software and installation disks, inks or cartridges, instruction manuals etc.
  • Tech MonStore will not be liable for the loss of any data at all. It remains the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that they have an adequate back-up of all their data.
  • Supplier lead time for warranty items is up to 21 (twenty-one) working days.
  • There is no warranty on consumables i.e., blank CD’s and DVD’s, cartridges and toners, cables, paper, batteries, etc.

Liquids and pastes also carry no warranty whatsoever and will not be accepted for credit or exchange.

  • Software carries no warranty at all. There is no refund, no swop out or any exchange on all software.
  • Tech MonStore will not take responsibility to pay out anything for any loss whatsoever.
  • The user hereby agrees that any item handed in for repair may be sold by Tech MonStore to defray the cost of such repairs if the item remains uncollected within 30 (thirty) days of the repairs being completed and customer notified of completion. [email protected]
  • Tech MonStore values all feedback via the “Contact Us” option on the website. Any information placed on the website will become our property and will not be limited in any way whatsoever as to the use of the information. Any inappropriate comments that contain unlawful, obscene or defamatory material will not be permitted and will be removed from the website entirely.
  • Tech MonStore will not distribute, sell or share any personal information provided on this website with anyone else and will solely be restricted to be used on the website and/or the transaction processed on it. We reserve the right to communicate with you regarding information that may be required related to the services or products as a result of use of the website. All personal information is held securely.
  • To use and access this website you will require a suitable device with internet connectivity and Tech MonStore shall not be held liable for any charges that may be incurred by you as a result of the connectivity.
